West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation organized a range of events at Milan Mela, Park Circus Ground from 8th February, 2017 to 13th February, 2017. The events included Sit and Draw, Mehendi Competition, Quiz, Culinary Art, Poster Making and Cultural Programmes. Students of various schools like Saifee Hall, St. Augustine’s, Loreto, Apeejay, St. John’s and others took part in the events. Students from Saifee Hall School emerged as winners in the Poster Making Competition and in the Culinary Arts Competition. The Tanti Bagh Educational Society is a Government recognized reading room and library which initiated an all Bengal Cultural Competition named as the "Tanti Bagh Educational Society Adbi Tehreek" and they organized many competitions like debate, ghazal khawani, news reading etc. Students from Saifee Hall participated under the guidance of our beloved Urdu Teachers – Mr. Jawed Akhtar and Mrs. Benazir Omar and the students won three prizes for our school. A team of students from Saifee Hall beautifully presented a presentation on the theme “Youth to Face Challenges of Water” and won at the 47th Annual IWWA (Indian Water Works Association) conference being held at Kolkata. Jan 18 2015 : The Times of India (Kolkata) The second edition of the youth theatre competition -Vodafone Odeon First Stage, organized by Vodafone India at a city auditorium on Wednesday was a happening affair. The panel of judges comprised Satinath Mukhopadhyay, Jagannath Bose, Raja Bhattacharya and Dulal Lahiri, who declared Saifee Hall the winner for their play 'The Internet Has Touched Us All'.
